MSU HealthTeam is the clinical practice component of the two medical schools and the college of nursing, along with Olin Student Health Center:
- 200 providers
- Over 40 clinics, in addition to hospital-based services
MSU HealthTeam is a distinct operating unit within the University, performing all group practice functions (excluding human resources and legal), which include:
- Practice Management
- Finance and Contracting
- Billing
- Information Technology
- Quality Assurance/Risk Management
MSU HealthTeam is organized under a board, comprised of three college deans, university administration, department chairs, and physicians - creating:
- Common vision and goals
- Centralized functions
- A single multi-specialty group practice
